Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth….

Join us for 2 days of fun drama workshops for children aged 7-12 in which we will be exploring some of Shakespeare’s best loved characters in the beautiful outdoor setting of the walled garden. Sessions are led by writer, performer and qualified teacher, Helen Jeffery and will culminate in a sharing of work to parents/carers at the end of the second day.

Original Shakespearean theatre would more often than not be performed in the open air, in an informal setting compared to our modern theatre norms. These workshops are a chance to engage with the complex and timeless works and words, whilst enjoying the fresh air, liberation and inspiration of the natural environment.
