Dr Kat Macey Clinical Psychologist
Kat offers 1:1 psychology sessions for adults experiencing common mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She also offers support to adapt to changed life circumstances such as illness, pain and relationship changes. Kat has experience of working with people with learning disabilities and people who are neurodiverse and can adapt therapy to suit the needs of the individual. Her main models of working are Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), third wave Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and approaches such as Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Kat works to formulate your needs and goals within a personalised integrative approach, drawing on evidence-based models of psychotherapy.
Appointments are available MondayโWednesday 9.15โ1.30 term time only. Kat sees people at Sudley Changing Rooms or online.
