As summer gives way to autumn, our bodies naturally begin to ask for different foods, different rhythms, and a different pace of life. Join hormone and gut health specialist, chef, food psychology practitioner and author Margaret Bell for a relaxed outdoor workshop exploring how seasonal eating can support your gut, hormones and energy as we move into autumn.
Around the fire, there’ll be space to talk honestly about why so many women experience bloating, digestive discomfort, low energy and hormonal symptoms, and how understanding your body and the season you're in can make all the difference.
Together you’ll explore:
Why your nutritional needs naturally change as the seasons change.
The relationship between your gut, hormones, and nervous system.
Why slowing down isn't lazy, it's part of supporting your digestion.
Seasonal foods that nourish your microbiome during autumn.
Simple, realistic habits you can take home and use immediately.
You’ll cook a simple, seasonal dish over the fire using beautiful autumn ingredients that celebrate the abundance of the season. You'll pick up plenty of cooking tips, understand why those ingredients matter, and leave with the recipe to recreate at home.
This isn't about dieting or perfection, it's about learning to work with your body rather than against it, using seasonal food as one of the simplest ways to support long-term health.
Whether you're navigating hormonal changes, struggling with your digestion or simply want to reconnect with cooking and eating with the seasons, you'll leave feeling inspired, nourished, and full of practical ideas.
The Walled Garden is set up for any weathers (other than storms and intense heat!) so don’t worry about the weather, we will have backup plans to keep you warm, dry and safe whatever Mother Nature brings.
